Mikhara obtained her LLB degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2023, where she developed a strong foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of the law. She went on to complete her Practical Legal Training through LEAD and the Law Society of South Africa (LSSA) at Burg House in Rondebosch, Cape Town, finalising the programme by May 2024.

Demonstrating strong academic ability and commitment to her legal career, Mikhara successfully passed all four of the attorney admission examinations in August 2024. She joined Gishen McLeod Attorneys as a Candidate Attorney in January 2025.

Mikhara’s legal interests are diverse, with a primary focus on commercial law, civil litigation, and family law. She also maintains a growing interest in cyber law and intellectual property law, recognising the evolving role of technology and innovation in the modern legal landscape. Her analytical mindset, diligence, and eagerness to learn make her a valuable contributor to the firm and a promising attorney in the making.
